So Many Roads, So Little Time
"Growing old is compulsory - Growing up is optional...."

“Ride for Passion” symbolizes the inborn desire to travel to new lands and ride into the distant horizons of this wonderful planet, visit places, meet new people, sample new foods, understand different cultures etc, all within the confines of a two-wheeler, the wide open road & the wind in your face. Its indeed true like somebody once said- So many roads, so little time. But if you have a dream, believe in it & pursue it - It will surely happen one day.

I have been an avid biker for more than two decades. From the first time as a toddler I sat on my neighbor, Charles uncle’s Lambretta scooter in the late sixties to the present day, two-wheelers of every kind from scooters, roadsters, supersports, full-dress tourers, sport-tourers, cruisers, dirt-bikes, café racers, electric bikes, mopeds etc of any brand & make have always mesmerized me beyond words. As time passed, bikes have become a major obsession and bike touring is something I love a lot when not sitting at my office desk. To supplement this, motorcycle scale model collection is another hobby I have been pursuing with a side collection of heavy equipment and buses.

My wife- A dentist by profession and a homemaker by choice, but culinary arts is her major hobby & passion. She has always been fond of reading & traveling to various places & interacting with different peoples & cultures, which she believes tremendously opens the mind, heart & thinking in many positive ways. Although she admires bikes, she has never been a ‘biker’ in its true sense nor sees herself riding her own bike someday, but right from her first long trip as a pillion on my bike, she has taken a special liking for bike touring as she finds it is in more close contact with your surroundings & the whole travel experience is more intense to the senses. Indeed, she plays a big role behind the scenes on each trip from the planning to execution and ofcourse does all the amateur camera work.

Our adorable kids, son Adil & daughter Amal, have been great admirers of their papa & mama’s global bike adventures! They let us off the leash once in a while to allow us pursue our biking interests and they are themselves eager to grow up soon so they can also individually share the travel experiences with me on the bike. We love you kids.

This introduction would be incomplete without a very special gratitude from me & Farzana to my family as well as her family for their continued, whole hearted support & encouragement to pursue our adventure rides.
